I enjoy the new VPN client, it’s small and fast, however I hated that you can’t save profiles in the drop down list like you could in the traditional VPN client.

This has been bothering for a long time and kept finding conflicting information on if this was possible or not. Finally got it to work.

Cisco AnyConnect Overview Cisco AnyConnect - Empower your employees to work from anywhere, on company laptops or personal mobile devices, at any time. AnyConnect simplifies secure endpoint access and provides the security necessary to help keep your organization safe and protected. By default the AnyConnect client will use TCP 443. But the AnyConnect client may also use DTLS (which provides the same type of authentication and encryption as SSL but uses UDP to do it). I connected to the internet with my colleague’s Portable Wirelless Modem. Then i ensured VPN connection from Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client but i’ve got the warning window which is given below. I think my internet access was blocked or the problem is related to limit of Portable Wirelless Modem to connect SAS network.

This is for version 3.1x and Windows 7 let me know if this works for your version and OS.

  • Use this format
